How to Set Up IPTV on MAG and Formuler Boxes

MAG units from Infomir and the Formuler boxes were built for this one job, which is why they feel steadier than a repurposed streaming stick on a television that runs all evening. Neither takes an ordinary app login. A MAG works from a portal address tied to the box MAC, while Formuler goes through MyTVOnline. Send us the MAC and we switch the portal on from our end.

Before you begin

  • MAG 3xx/4xx/5xx or Formuler Z8, Z10, Z11
  • The MAC address printed under the box
  • GaroxTv portal URL (sent after you share the MAC)

The setup, one step at a time

  1. Find the MAC address

    It is on the label underneath the box and under Settings, About device. On a MAG it begins 00:1A:79. Send it to us on WhatsApp and wait for confirmation before going on.

  2. MAG: enter the portal URL

    Go to Settings, System settings, Servers, Portals. Give Portal 1 any name, paste the portal address we sent, save, and restart the box. Nothing works until that restart.

  3. Formuler: use MyTVOnline

    Open MyTVOnline 2 or 3, choose Add Portal, and supply a name and the portal address. Or pick Xtream Codes and use the standard login instead. Formuler will also run Android players such as TiViMate if you would rather.

  4. Watch

    After the restart the box loads the 25,000+ channels with its built-in guide, and the colour buttons on the remote handle favourites and the EPG.

When something will not play

Portal shows "STB blocked" or a blank screen

Either the MAC is not activated yet, or a character slipped when it was sent. Photograph the label and send the picture rather than retyping it; that clears it within minutes in nearly every case.
